Howdy, folks. In case you haven’t already heard, I adopted a cat last week from a local shelter. Her name is Taffy, and here she is:
As you can see, I’ve had her for less than a week, and I’ve already taken too many photos. She is a lovebug, but she’s playful too. She has the sweetest little meow. She’s about 3 1/2 years old.
And I will mention that I did win a couple of Virginia Press Association awards. I won (with a reporter) second place for data journalism for this:
