Hello, hello, hello! I got my flu shot today, but I am feeling well enough to do a post. This flu shot doesn’t seem to be hitting me as badly as others. I’m a little wonky, and my arm is killing me, but I’m generally OK.
After one heck of a busy week last week, I am going to take a lazy day today, mostly. The job as a freelance columnist starts Friday, and I’d like to get a head start on writing some columns. I think that my first one (or more) will probably need a lot of edits to conform to the style and tone they want, so I want to be sure to give editors enough time to look it over.
But that’s the only work I’m going to do today. I figure that getting a flu shot gives me permission to be a lazy pile of uselessness for a day. So, I shall do that! I started playing a new video game the other day, and I really love it. It’s “Dead by Daylight,” and it’s a survival game. But you can play as a survivor or a killer. Anyone who knows me won’t be surprised to know that I love playing as the killer. And for those who don’t know me, that’s probably sound a bit psychotic. But it’s just a game, and it’s a fun way to relieve some stress. I’m going to stream on Twitch today, and I’ll probably stream that.
I had a heck of a work week. It started with computer issues that took a week to resolve. One of my bosses was on vacation, so we were down a person (I’m not mad at the person or anything like that, it just meant extra work, that’s all). And I can’t go into too much detail with one thing, but a certain someone decided not to do their job properly and put me and a co-worker about three hours behind schedule Saturday, which was the night of the big race at Bristol Motor Speedway. And there were other bits of chaos thrown in. To say that I was relieved the work week was over is an understatement. However, I did like how my front page came out:

So, cheers to it being the weekend, even if I did have to get a flu shot. It was a much needed break. Until next time!
