Hello, everyone! Well, yesterday was a really weird, good and event-filled day. I am going to try to present everything in order.
First, I want to point out that my typical day now is getting up, having coffee, exercising, writing a blog entry, lunch, working (whether it’s at my job or chores), dinner and relaxing before bed.
Well, yesterday I woke up to a message from a friend about a really neat opportunity. I don’t want to go into too much detail, but it would be a freelance writing job that would involve writing about my autoimmune disease. It was so amazing that she thought of me for that. And I would absolutely love to write more about my condition and have it read by a wider audience. That would just be so wonderful.
After that, I had to go to my primary care doctor for a basic checkup. I wasn’t having an issues, and she monitors my high blood pressure. Well, I actually had some lab tests I needed done for my rheumatologist, and she gladly let me do that there! The whole appointment went really well.
Then I got a message from a cousin who pointed out a job opportunity for me. And I hadn’t seen it posted before, so that was so helpful! I applied for that job last night. I am extremely qualified for it, and I really hope I get it. And in the process of that, I asked several folks if they would be references for me, and I got to have some lovely conversations with all of them as well!
I also got a phone call from my aunt, and it was so wonderful to hear from her! She also reads my blog, and we talked for a bit about this and that. I think I was a bit overexcited when I was talking to her, hahaha. But it was just such a great chat.
And I found out that I had some reward points worth about $18 from Office Depot, and I ordered a couple things from there, for free! They are being delivered tomorrow!
And and and I got some of my lab results back last night, and if I’m reading them correctly — and I’m about 90 percent sure I am — my liver is fine! Yay! I hate the fact that my hair is falling out like crazy, but if that’s the only side effect from the methotrexate, then that’s fine. I’m not going anywhere anyway. Heck, maybe one day I’ll get brave enough to shave it off. I was actually thinking of doing a thing where if people donated a total of $5,000 to me or something like that, I would shave my head on stream on Twitch. Probably ridiculous, but I think it would be a riot.
Wow, I sure did use a lot of exclamation marks in this post, hahahaha. I just had such a wonderful day. About 9 p.m. last night, I talked my mom’s ear off about the day. It was really funny how I couldn’t shut up.
Until next time!
