Getting back on track

Hello, hello, hello. Well, now that this is the last day of my vacation, it’s a good time to get back on track.

I fell off the track when I got the news that my last bloodwork results showed that there is something up with my liver. I went to the doctor yesterday, but I have not heard anything yet about the new bloodwork I had done.

I had all these plans for my week off, but I was so worried about my liver that I could not focus. Two days last week I felt horrible, and I’ve had more panic attacks than I can count. So, I did not accomplish much this past week. I got my car inspected, wrote some chapters in my book and cleaned out a cluttered room, but that’s about it.

I did stay on my diet, except for eating cake and ice cream for my birthday. I got back to exercising today, riding my new bike for the first time in a week. My legs feel like rubber, but I am so glad that I felt like I could exercise again. The exercise mat my sister got me for my birthday is so nice, and now I can do crunches and other exercises on the floor instead of on my bed.

I’m stuck in limbo on other things I want to do, though, because of waiting on these bloodwork results. I mean, if there is something horribly wrong with me, that puts a wrench into most everything I want to do. I AM SO WORRIED. I am obsessively watching my phone for calls or emails. I am just not going to be able to focus on much of anything until I hear something.

So, today, I am going to just do nothing. I mean, it is my last day of vacation, after all! So, here’s to kicking back, trying to relax, and watching Twitch streams and YouTube videos all day! Woo!

Until next time!
